The King St Newtown studio was opened in 1999 with the intention of creating a high-end street studio welcoming all comers. We have since been providing an amazing array of the highest quality body jewellery the industry has to offer alongside cutting-edge piercing techniques in a friendly atmosphere.
Industrial Strength Australia's sterilisation standards exceed the current NSW Health Department legislation, documenting cycle duration, pressure and temperature to ensure compliance. The studios Statim 2000 and G4 autoclaves are well maintained, regularly spore tested and serviced to ensure client safety and peace of mind.
There are 3 fully equipped piercing rooms in the Industrial Strength studio which are enclosed for privacy allowing you a comfortable and safe space, these rooms are also air-conditioned and air-purified for your comfort and safety to ensure optimum sterility in a safe and controlled environment.
Our Piercers
We have experienced male and female piercers available 7 days a week that are highly trained in anatomy, aesthetics and all aspects of aseptic technique to prevent cross contamination.
We encourage consultations with our piercers to discuss potential jewellery options and anatomy considerations so we can give you a beautiful piercing with a stunning piece of jewellery that will flatter your anatomy in a safe and hygienic environment.
We are constantly striving to keep ahead of changes in the industry, anticipating our clienteles needs in everything from safety and comfort to jewellery variety and affordability.
Lastly and most importantly, we are always available for post-piercing aftercare advice.
Our piercers and counter staff will provide you with written and verbal aftercare information so you can take care of your piercing safely, but sometimes accidents happen - Small knocks and bumps can upset even the happiest piercing and this can be stressful when you’re unsure what to do next.
We encourage you to come into the studio or give us a call to have one of our piercers advise you on how to proceed with your aftercare. We’re available 7 days a week to assist you with all your piercing needs and to ensure you have a great experience in store and after.

Industrial Strength Australia Price List
Our prices include industry standard Implant Grade Titanium jewellery as a base price for all piercings.
Genital piercing prices are subject to an anatomy consultation where we will discuss potential jewellery options and provide the best option with your jewellery preferences in mind.
You’re more than welcome to pick out any of our premium Swarovski gem or Solid Gold ends that we have available in store for your initial piercing, doing so will increase the price to include the cost of the unique piece you have chosen.
